Choice. -INDUS provides financial management, document control,
process improvement, and administrative support to the Air
Dominance Department of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port
Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) on the -Customer Support and Program
Management (CSPM) contract. NSWC PHD is the designated In-Service
Engineering Agent (ISEA) for the Air and Missile Defense Radar
(AMDR), Dual Band Radar (DBR), Griffin Missile Systems, and AEGIS
Combat System. The Air Dominance Department executes engineering,
technical, logistics and leadership functions to conduct the ISEA
mission. The customer organizations served by the Air Dominance
Department include the ships of the US Navy, US Navy shore
activities, the navies of allied nations purchasing AEGIS and
non-AEGIS ISEA services. -Reporting to the Principal Analyst, the
Mid-level -Financial Analyst will provide financial analysis and
process improvement support to identify, evaluate, analyze,
resolve, and implement a range of budgeting solutions (including
developing alternative methods of funding) on the Customer Support
and Program Management (CSPM) contract. The ideal candidate has
strong Navy finance, budgeting, and accounting experience, and
experience using Navy financial software tools such as ERP, DTS,
SharePoint, and beyond. This position is located in Pt. Hueneme,
CA. -
- Provide detailed financial analysis, budget preparation and
execution services, funds tracking and allocation, and related
specified services for the Air Dominance Department.
- Plan, obtain, and coordinate the varied office services.
- Support the assembly of information and data and provide to
management and their representatives.
- Prepare varied oral and written presentations.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain an integrated system of
financial services including accounting, budgeting, and financial
reporting over the financial resources of the organization.
- Coordinate financial and management data to interpret the
composite financial results of operations to all levels of the
Department's management
- Review, make recommendations, and support the development of
financial policies, procedures, and objectives.
- Review financial transactions to ensure fund propriety,
correlation to approved financial plans, function and expense
element propriety and compliance to DoD, Navy and NSWC PHD
procedures and regulations.
- Provide financial spreadsheets and verbal reports based on
Government provided data to management for effective evaluation of
program operations and milestones.
- Bid and proposal support if requested.
- Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:
- An active secret clearance is required to be considered for
this position.
- HS Diploma required.
- At least two (2) years of experience with Navy financial
accounting software applications, including ERP, DTS, SharePoint,
and the standard Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
(i.e., Pivot tables, formula development, etc.).
- Experience with Navy-applicable techniques supporting financial
analysis and process improvement efforts to identify, evaluate,
analyze, resolve, and implement budgeting and programming problems
(developing alternative methods of funding and/or accomplishing a
task or specific function).
- Requires a Microsoft Excel technical assessment (with score of
80% or above to pass). This assignment will assess candidates'
knowledge of various formulas and excel worksheet formatting skills
(to include pivot tables, Sum if, V-lookups, etc.).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without
the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the
future.Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in financial management, accounting,
statistics, or business management. Two (2) additional years of
experience working in finance, accounting, and/or project analysis
may substitute in lieu of a degree.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- MS Office Suite.
- Good customer support skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Navy business finances. -INDUS aims to provide a
competitive compensation package, including a strong pay for
performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this
position is $70,000 - $85,000. This position is eligible to
participate in our corporate 401(k) and Employee Stock Ownership
Plan (ESOP) programs, and may be eligible for performance bonuses,

considers job-related knowledge, skills, work location, education
