Engineer
Location: Thousand Oaks, CA About the role: This role supports the
Thousand Oaks facility through the validation of manufacturing
equipment, facilities, and utilities. How you will contribute:
- Apply knowledge or quickly learn cGXPs, relevant SOP
curriculum, routine requalification procedures, instrument
calibration and other training as appropriate. -
- Validate a variety of equipment, facilities, and utilities, and
participate in projects/studies to support Manufacturing
Operations.
- Write and generate reports, conduct studies, and execute
protocols.
- Conduct investigations, evaluate and implement process
improvements related to manufacturing challenges.
- Perform routine tasks timely and accurately. -
- May perform other duties as assigned.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic team player with
demonstrated history of flexibility
- Ability to work effectively, collaborate cross-functionally,
and utilize resources efficiently
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills
- Able to multi-task in a highly dynamic and diverse
environment.
- Strong technical/business writing.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, computer software. What

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

- Tuition reimbursement Important Considerations At Takeda, our
patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we
must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure
we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role,
you may:
- The overall physical exertion of this position is light
work.
- Normal office environment; inside working conditions.
- May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning
and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and
body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud
areas.
- Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail
polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing
environment.
- May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.
- May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and
Celite that may require respiratory protection.
- May be required to manage hazardous wastes in compliance with
company procedures & State/Federal/Local hazardous waste
regulations. Duties may include identifying, handling, generating,
accumulating, storing, labeling, and on-site transporting of
hazardous wastes. -
- Able to work more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours a workweek,
including holidays and weekends as needed. as required.
- May require availability outside normal business hours.
- Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high. More
