Location: Thousand Oaks, CA About the role: This role supports the Thousand Oaks facility through the validation of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utilities. How you will contribute:

  • Apply knowledge or quickly learn cGXPs, relevant SOP curriculum, routine requalification procedures, instrument calibration and other training as appropriate. -
  • Validate a variety of equipment, facilities, and utilities, and participate in projects/studies to support Manufacturing Operations.
  • Write and generate reports, conduct studies, and execute protocols.
  • Conduct investigations, evaluate and implement process improvements related to manufacturing challenges.
  • Perform routine tasks timely and accurately. -
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and enthusiastic team player with demonstrated history of flexibility
  • Ability to work effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and utilize resources efficiently
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task in a highly dynamic and diverse environment.
  • Strong technical/business writing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, computer software. What you bring to Takeda:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

      • Tuition reimbursement Important Considerations At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:
        • The overall physical exertion of this position is light work.
        • Normal office environment; inside working conditions.
        • May work in a controlled environment requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body. This may include additional hearing protection for loud areas.
        • Will need to remove all make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish and/or artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
        • May work in a cold, hot or wet environment.
        • May work around chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers and Celite that may require respiratory protection.
        • May be required to manage hazardous wastes in compliance with company procedures & State/Federal/Local hazardous waste regulations. Duties may include identifying, handling, generating, accumulating, storing, labeling, and on-site transporting of hazardous wastes. -
        • Able to work more than 8 hours a day or 40 hours a workweek, including holidays and weekends as needed. as required.
        • May require availability outside normal business hours.
        • Pace may be fast and job completion demands may be high.
