Job Description:

This role designs, develops, modifies and evaluates RF chips, components, packages, and modules for millimeter-wave radio-frequency electronic equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  
• MMIC and RFIC design and layout in Indium Phosphide, Gallium Nitride, and Silicon technologies
  
  
  
  • 
    
  • Advanced RF packaging development for heterogenous integration
    
    
    
    • 
      
    • Uses state-of-the-art EM software tools to design and simulate Client RF components/modules operating at frequencies of operation anywhere from 1 to 200+ GHz
      
    • Design and fabrication of test fixtures, printed circuit boards, and waveguide assemblies
      
    • Test and measurement of millimeter-wave electronic devices
      
    • Other duties as assigned
      
      
      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
      
      • 
        
      • Broad background in physics, electronics, and mechanical systems
        
      • Design and Layout of RFICs and MMICs using Cadence and Keysight CAD tools
        
      • Knowledge of EM simulation techniques and tools such as Ansys HFSS and Cadence EMX
        
        
        
        • 
          
        • Use of millimeter-wave and sub-millimeter measurement instrumentation including familiarity with test instruments such as Client-X network analyzers, Noise Figure meters, power meters and on-wafer probe stations
          
          
          
          • 
            
          • Strong verbal and written communication skills
            
          • High attention to detail and ability to multitask
            
          • Advanced computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
            
          • Displays exemplary ethics and business conduct and performs work cognizant of safe work practices
            
            
            Education and Experience
            
            • 
              
            • PhD Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or Master's Degree with ten (10) plus years of experience with III-V compound semiconductor devices
              
            • Experience in the design, simulation and characterization of III-V compound semiconductor electronic devices and components
              
              
              Citizenship Requirements
              Due to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a U.S.Citizen.

                Salary Range:
                $112,200.00 - $188,100.00
