Aerospace Naval Engineer, JuniorKey Role:Develop and test data collection tools and methods and documents that support various types of ship board combat systems, missiles, or ships and possibly submersibles. Apply basic Naval principles, theories, and concepts, and limited industrial or shipyard knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity, and refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with analysis tools
• Ability to effectively communicate with team and clients to translate user needs to requirements, specifications, and designs
• Ability to manage modernization, tech insertion, or engineering changes
• Ability to schedule, track, monitor deliverables
• Ability to prepare and deliver presentations
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) disciplinesAdditional Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of shipboard systems or combat systems
  • Knowledge of DoD systems, processes and tools
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team and clients to translate user needs to requirements, specifications, and designs

  • Master's degree

The projected compensation range for this position is $52,100.00 to $119,000.00 (annualized USD).
