Job Location :
Thousand Oaks, CA

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support and take a responsible role in the Client Engineering Team
• Develop familiarity with the clients manufacturing system standards
• Implement clients Automation Standards throughout all projects relating to their deliverables
• Act as client representative providing oversight to the System Integrators, reviewing and approving design and test documentation
• Implement best practices from previous projects relating to their deliverables
• Create Automation User Requirement Specifications
• Responsible for Software Development and implementation
• Support FAT/C&Q activities as applicable
• Ability to execute system changes and optimization under site change control
• Provide front line automation support to production

    Required Qualifications:
    
    
    • Process Automation project experience with the DeltaV and Rockwell Platforms
    • Drive for innovation and continuous improvement
    • Understanding of Process Automation implementation in a Pharma/Biotech environment.
    • Familiarity with ISA 88 and GAMP
    • Clear understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
    • Bachelor's or Graduate's Degree in engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering or computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience with SCADA, PLCs, HMI, APIs, SQL software and systems is not required but desirable.
    • Over 7 years relevant DeltaV experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry
      Salary and Other Compensation:
      The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.The annual salary for this position is between $60K - $126K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
