Job Description:
Job Description Position Summary Gage, finish and fit parts,
assemble and test all types of pre-production and first production
electro-mechanical units and systems. Essential Job Functions:

function of the position. - Assemble all types of units and
components for buildup of pre-production models and for the initial
production of new products. /n - Works closely with production
engineering personnel and suggests changes when units cannot be
assembled as designed or when changes would simplify fabrication
and assembly. /n - Improvises makes or works with new tooling in
fitting, assembling and testing pre-production and first production
units. /n - Works new production units to point where sufficient
information is gathered as to operation sequence and final tooling
requirements so that work may be delegated to production personnel.
/n - Performs such work as hand machining, lapping, gaging, and
fitting of parts such as pins, shafts, bearings, gears, cylinders,
valve seat, sleeves etc. /n - Works to Job Instruction Sheets and
engineering drawings /n - Must be able to completely assemble all
types of components with production efficiency, with little or no
assistance. /n - Demonstrate ability to troubleshoot various
mechanical and electrical assemblies. /n Required Skills and
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual
must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The

demands if required. /n - Ability to read and interpret all types
of engineering drawings. To work from complete design information.
Work to precise tolerances. To read and interpret functional test
requirements. Touse shop mathematics. To know electrical color code
and read complex blueprints. Thorough knowledge of components and
parts of typical assemblies produced. Knowledge of wire stock and
sizes. Skill in use of mechanical and electrical hand tools.
Ability to use usual electronic test and checkout equipment. To
read precision mechanical measuring devices. /n - Punctual. /n -

work with some supervision. /n - Customer service driven. /n - Able
to manage multiple tasks. /n - Professional conduct at all times.

Registrations: To perform this job successfully, an individual must
possess the outlined experience level, education, training, minimum
years of experience, product or industry knowledge plus any
certifications in order to be considered. - High school diploma or
GED, /n Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required: The work
environment characteristics described here are representative of
those an employee encounters while performing the essential
functions of the job. While performing the duties of this Job, the
employee is regularly required to sit for long periods and stand to
perform work. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms
and talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift, push, pull or
move up to fifty (50) pounds or more with assistance. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color
vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. /n 1.
Occasionally required to lift up to 30 lbs. /n 2. Regularly
required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. /n
3. Safety glasses, shop coat/apron, proper shoes. /n 4. Occasional
exposure to shop element such as noise, dust, odors and fumes. /n
/n Typical Materials, Tools and Equipment Used: Materials worked
on: Fabricated and partially fabricated parts of ferrous and
non-ferrous materials, non-metallic materials. Materials worked
with: Honing and lapping compounds, silicone oils, accessories,
counter and computer components. Tools used: Mechanics' and
machinists' hand tools, soldering iron, precision measuring
devices, including pressure gages. Equipment used: Electrical
meters and test instruments, vices, jigs and fixtures, bench
equipment, micro-grinders, lapping machines. Management reserves

essential function of the job. Hourly rate: $35.39-$38.14 Pay,
Benefits, Work Schedule Competitive Compensation - Pay Range:
