Dream Dinners is an innovativeconcept in meal preparation that eliminates the stress of dealing with dinner;we remove menu planning, shopping, prep-work, and clean up, leaving morequality time for families.The Assistant Store Manager willoversee our Thousand Oaks, CA location in partnership with the Store Manager. Starting pay is $20 - $22/hr. (depending onexperience) plus a 40% employee meal discount.This position is 20-25 hours/ week and schedule will vary week-by-weekbut will require the availability to work some evenings and Saturdays.Experience: 1-3 years of managementor leadership experience is preferred, but we offer on-the-job training, and experienceis not required. What is more important to us is that you are teachable,reliable, enjoy interacting with people, and have a desire to learn about DreamDinners and serve our guests. The focus of this position is engaging withguests during their store pickups, including talking to them about placing afuture order, and the ability to create relationships and partnerships thatgrow the business.At Dream Dinners, you will:Manage, along with the Store Manager, store teams, includinghiring, training, conducting employee reviews, and leading regular staffmeetingsProvide exceptional customer service and lead employees to do thesame, resolving any customer problems using a guest-centric approachParticipate in all required training, meetings, and coaching calls,and communicate store needs to Corporate in a timely mannerWere the perfect match if you:Are organized and have an attention to detailAre driven to meet deadlines and goalsHave basic knowledge of programs like Microsoft Word, Excel, andOutlookMaintain, encourage, and possess ownership mentalityExcel in leadership and customer serviceNote: This is not a remoteposition, but some training may be available virtually and can potentially bedone from home. Applicants should plan on working all shifts in the DreamDinners store and must be able to be on their feet for extended periods and liftup to 25 lbs.TravelThe positionmay involve local travel most likely in the range of 25% on average butpotentially higher during occasional peak periods.
