• Cutting Edge Space TechnologyJob DetailsSUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Director of Quality that can help lead our team to success in the highly demanding Space and Military markets. As the Director of Quality you will hold responsibility for the management and leadership of all aspects of the Quality department and will ensure that the high quality standards of both our company and our customers are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the Quality team to high performance
  • Ensure the integrity of the quality system
  • Propose process improvement opportunities based on continued analysis and monitoring of metrics, goals and objectives
  • Coordinate efforts to handle Quality Inspection, RMA's, Calibration of Test Equipment
  • Conduct Management Reviews, Internal Audits and Training to continuously comply with the requirements stated in Lucix Quality Systems Manual, Procedures and Work Instructions
  • Prepare for and perform internal quality audits, generate audit reports, corrective actions, verify integrity of root cause analysis and effectiveness of corrective actions
  • Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes within the organization.
  • Lead and maintain full compliance with AS9100-B and ISO 9001:2000 Certification of Registration
  • Develop and manage the QA budget, resources, and personnel
  • CoPQ / PoNCEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 7+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing environment
    • 5+ years of management experience
    • Experience leading and managing MRB and/or FRB. High reference for space FRB experience
    • Experience with ISO 9001:2000 required: experience with AS9100-B desirable
    • Aerospace / Defense manufacturing experience highly preferred
    • Must possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to build cross-functional teams and manage complex multi-tasked activities.
    • Must be well-organized and able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
