Job Description:

The Global Master Data Management (MDM) Coordinator will manage Material Master Data in both SAP-ECC and SAP-MDG, during the entire life cycle of the global finished goods materials in scope. They are responsible for: material creation; updating and monitoring the SAP material master, price conditions, intercompany purchasing info records, and source lists; control SAP purchasing, sales and marketing blocks and release; as well as other master data management related tasks at the global level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Support local users by determining solutions for SAP requests and/or problems.
• Support SAP user requests for data and reports.
• Support users in the MDM helpdesk and material initiation processes.
• Control, track and status material creation and data entry through the material creation, maintenance, approval, and release processes.
• Write and develop Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions, and represent the department in projects as needed.
• Set up and maintain control of distribution and material plant statuses for global materials.
• Set up and maintain internal material price condition records, purchasing info records, and source lists for global materials.
• Set up and maintain material determinations for replacement materials.
• Set up and maintain SAP automatic / manual material connections for global materials.
• Notify stakeholders of sales released and discontinued materials.
• Support Regulatory dept in maintenance of US 510(k) and MDL numbers in the US customer masters.
• Develop, review and update SOPs and Work Instructions for various duties as part of the workflow.
• Over time, demonstrate ability to complete all MDM case categories, and cross-train all team members.
• Over time, drive continuous improvement through all MDM processes using EBS best practices.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by management.

  EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years' experience working in a medical device manufacturing environment, or other regulated manufacturing industry. Must have experience working in SAP within manufacturing setting.
  
  OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must work well under pressure in a demanding environment.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Skills: Word and Excel.
  • SAP a plus.

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
