CACompensation: $115,000 - $125,000 + 10% target bonusWhat this job
involves - The Senior EHS Manager is responsible for establishing a
vision and strong leadership to drive world-class EHS performance
and client satisfaction. This role will advise the JLL management
team on workplace safety issues, evaluate potential hazardous
situations and environmental impacts, conduct accident
investigations, site inspections, and ensure JLL is compliant with
all statutory and Client requirements.This position will be fully
responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and
continuous improvement of proactive Health and Safety programs with
the goal towards a cultural transformation toward zero incidents
and injuries. -This position will review programs, policies, plans,
and specifications to ensure that H&S Compliance issues are
addressed. This position must be well versed and remain current on
Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements, and provide
direction to the local Site Leadership Team to ensure those
requirements are met.
- Provides day-to-day health, safety, industrial hygiene, and
environmental support and guidance/solutions to facility personnel
to maintain a safe work environment consistent with company policy
and state and federal regulations.
- Performs EHS inspection audits and reviews investigation
reports to ensure that corrective & preventive actions will
eliminate recurrence.
- Responsible for injury reporting, investigating, and a tracking
system along with associated involvement in worker's compensation
activities.
- Responsible for all Classroom H&S training programs in
terms of scheduling and conducting training.
- Evaluates, develops, and approves, JHAs to maintain a
consistent safe work environment.
- Create site-specific safety programs to align with JLL
corporate expectations.
- Assist in the assurance of compliance with internal and
client-related audit programs and expectations.------Interested? -
An ideal candidate would need to have the following
qualificationsDesired experience and technical skills -
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health,
environmental science, or a related subject. Master's degree or a
professional designation like CHST, OHST, CSP, or CIH is
desirable.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Federal, State, and Local HS
laws and regulations.
- A minimum of five years of experience working with EHS
compliance and management systems preferably within facility
operations. EHS experience in biopharmaceutical, research or
maintenance operations is highly desirable.
- Success working with subcontractors/vendors supporting mutual
safety objectives.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of Federal, State, and Local HS
laws and regulations.
- A proven record of making presentations and providing effective
training. Proven track record of successfully executing high-hazard
prevention programs; specifically: Hot Work, LOTO, Electrical
Safety, confined space entry, and fall protection.
- Willingness to support other local sites as needed.
- Some travel may be required (0%- 25%).If this job description
