California, and the regional area. You will play an important role
in fostering and promoting client relationships as well as
providing technical guidance, team development, and business
development.Our team supports a wide range of clients in both the
private and public sectors and designs a wide variety of project
types including residential, institutional, industrial, healthcare,
commercial, retail, master planned communities both local and
nationwide clients, and public works projects with agencies in the
local region. We have new opportunities for talented and motivated
team members / partners to lead new project opportunities. We are
eager to grow and develop an emerging leader that will be an
integral part of expanding our local team.Be a part of our
close-knit team supporting Golden State Growth on exciting
projects, including the iconic World Logistics Center project.Your
Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects. Developing proposals
and managing the approved scope, budget and schedule are a key
role.Assist in developing new work opportunities and building
client relationships.Expand our service offerings to new clients
and / or internal partnersLead the Design Team on civil engineering
related services.Day-to-day project oversight and communication
with the client and project team.Develop, track, update, forecast
and modify the project schedule and budget throughout all phases of
the project.Prepare project status reports on a regular
basis.Review and approval all invoices and change orders associated
with the project.Responsible for the overall project performance
and implementation of our project management frameworks.Primary
point of contract and representative to internal partners and
clients.Build and mentor a team under your direct
supervision.Adhere to PM Frameworks and perform quality control and
assurance to maintain ISO certifications.QualificationsYour
Capabilities and CredentialsStrong understanding of Civil
Engineering and Land Surveying Service offerings.Strong
understanding of design and construction permitting / approval
process and requirements.Understanding of land use, planning and
project entitlement process.Excellent interpersonal skills, strong
mentoring skills, natural team leadership.Strong written and oral
communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and
problem-solving abilities.Local project resume and experience
strongly preferred.Possess a valid driver's license and good
driving record.Education and ExperienceMinimum 10 years of
experience in Civil EngineeringBachelor's degree in Civil
EngineeringRegistered Professional EngineerTypical office
environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long
periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements
