• The Director must be a Christian with a deep faith in Jesus Christ.
• Must meet all current California State requirements for a Preschool Director.
• Must have at least 7 years of experience in a licensed childcare center.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the owner/development team to implement the unique curriculum.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the facility, including support and care for teachers, children, and families.
  • Manage all day-to-day aspects of the preschool.
  • Participate collaboratively and professionally with staff to promote the general well-being of the school.
  • Negotiate conflict resolution with children, parents, and staff.
  • Facilitate the enrollment process, including tours.
  • Administrative duties, including supply management, budget management, and maintenance of student contracts and files.Compensation:
    • Starting salary: $65,000 a year.Key Skills:

          • Demonstrate a passion for working with children.
          • Implement duties with creativity, imagination, energy, and patience.
          • Be organized, proactive, teachable, and resourceful.
          • Maintain high standards of ethics, honesty, and integrity.Required Professional Qualities:
            • Meets the Child Care Center Director Title 22 qualifications.
            • 5+ years of experience in an administrative/leadership role preferably in a child care/preschool.
            • Demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy.Academic Leadership:
              • Assist staff in identifying the learning needs of individual children.
              • Plan and deliver learning instructions based on the needs of the students.
              • Provide stimulating learning environments for children's development.
              • Collaborate with teachers to plan instructional activities.
              • Serve as a classroom aide or lead teacher as needed.
              • Perform miscellaneous duties such as answering the telephone and running errands.
              • Develop and maintain an annual budget.Professional Leadership:
                • Regularly seek to grow as a professional and implement new ideas.
                • Recruit, select, and hire staff to run the preschool program.
                • Supervise and evaluate all preschool staff.
                • Partner to recruit and onboard staff ensuring teacher ratios are met.
