Purpose: Responsible for managing and supervising all assigned
areas, following policies related to customers, associates, and
merchandising. Learn all phases of store operations. In the absence
of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager leads the store to
ensure standards and best practices are met.Essential
FunctionsGeneral Operating Requirements:
- Lead company best practices, maximizing productivity.
- Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and
performance.
- Communicate variances to standards.
- Ensure proper scheduling and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee cleaning tasks and payroll
administration.Organizational Development:
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing
staff.
- Ensure policy compliance and address associate relations
issues.Expense Control:
- Monitor expenditures, control payroll hours.Safety & Security:
- Prioritize safety, conduct safety meetings, and ensure policy
adherence.Customer Service:
- Maintain respectful interactions, demonstrate professionalism,
and supervise customer service activities.Brand Representation:
- Uphold the company brand, maintain a professional appearance,
and ensure store cleanliness.Merchandise & Loss Prevention:
- Oversee merchandise presentation, processing, and loss
prevention training.Competencies & Qualifications:
- Experience in retail management, leadership skills, ability to
multitask, and fluency in English.Physical Requirements &
Supervisor ResponsibilitiesIncludes standing, walking, lifting, and
