QualificationsSeeking a Palliative Care Nurse that will function on
the multidisciplinary team as an advocate, interpreter, educator
and counselor for patients. We are an amazing team that works hard
to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal additional like
you!
What you will do in this role:You will be responsible for planning,
implementing and directing the development of both the in-patient
Palliative Care program.You will be responsible for ensuring their
patients receive quality and comprehensive services.You will serve
as a liaison throughout the facility and in the community regarding
services provided for this unique patient population, and will
provide direction for steps beyond the acute care phase of care for
patients. You will be responsible for establishing coordination of
end of life care for patient and family, and providing emotional
support to this population. You will provide expert nursing care,
which includes: direct clinical practice, consultation, education
and research.What qualifications you will need:
