The Residency Program Specialist (RPS) is a position whose primary
objective is to grow Bausch + Lomb surgical revenue and influence
in Teaching Hospitals, Residency programs, associated surgical
facilities and associated Veteran Affairs Hospitals. The Residency
Program Specialist reports to the Residency Business Director -
Surgical.
Responsibilities
Work in collaboration with the Institutional Account Managers and
the Surgical Regional Business Directors to grow Bausch + Lomb
surgical product influence and revenue in Teaching Hospitals and
associated surgical facilities, Residency programs and associated
Veteran Affairs Hospitals.
Build and sustain advocates of B+L Surgical technologies with
faculty, staff, residents and fellows.
Follow-up on teaching programs leads generated by the Institutional
Account Managers and Surgical Representatives.
Coordinate the resources needed to effectively evaluate Bausch &
Lomb surgical products during the evaluation process (SES, RTM,
PVM, COS).
Successfully oversee the implementation of our product adoption and
usage after conversion.
Oversee the usage of Bausch + Lomb surgical products at VA
hospitals with residents from associated teaching programs.
Develop an effective teamwork relationship with other B+L
representatives.
Support the company's mission of "Providing the World's Most
Valuable Ophthalmic Experience" to customers by providing customers
with excellent service.
Effectively utilize and manage expenses, sample accounts, and
consignments in a responsible manner according to company
policies.
Perform other related administrative tasks associated with your
position according to company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in science, business, or a related field.
3+ years of ophthalmology sales or clinical/OR experience
required.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to establish priorities to meet goals.
Highly motivated and results driven.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs.
Capable of travel and overnight stays.

As required by California's Salary Transparency Law, Bausch + Lomb
provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of
compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in
California. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of
factors including but not limited to skill set, level of
experience, and specific office location. For California, the range
of starting annual base pay for this role is $100,000 -
$125,000.
