We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labor and Delivery
Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join the Birthplace unit in our
California facility. This role is responsible for providing safe,
compassionate, and evidence-based care to mothers and newborns
throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum stages. The
ideal candidate will be confident in managing dynamic clinical
situations and committed to delivering exceptional family-centered
care. Key Responsibilities: -Deliver safe, high-quality patient
care using the nursing process: assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation -Provide direct patient care within
the scope of nursing practice and established standards of care
-Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery,
recognizing and responding to emergent changes -Assist with vaginal
and cesarean deliveries, including fetal monitoring, medication
administration, and recovery support -Guide and educate patients
and families through labor, birth, and postpartum transitions
-Collaborate with physicians, midwives, anesthesiologists, and
support staff to ensure positive outcomes -Direct and delegate
responsibilities to other nursing personnel as appropriate
-Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients,
families, and visitors -Utilize the chain of command when necessary
