Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab travel position in California, requiring a valid CA RN license and recent cath lab experience. Responsibilities - Work in a hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting with three cath/EP/hybrid/structural heart rooms - Day shifts from 6:30AM to 5:00PM, with 10-hour shifts - Weekend call typically runs from Friday 3:30PM through Monday 7:00AM - Patient care is delivered with an average ratio of three staff per case - Procedures include left/right heart caths, angioplasty/stent, IVUS, ICE, atherectomy, atrial fib ablations, Micra's ICDs, pacemakers, lead extraction, and structural heart procedures such as TAVR and Watchman - Uses GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab/Cardiolab equipment, and the Meditech EMR system - RNs may float to assist in the Pre/Post care area, known as the Cardiovascular Observation Unit - Work alongside a supportive team of RNs and radiology technologists with three staff assigned per room - Responsibilities include circulating for cath lab procedures and may include assisting in pre/post care - Dress code allows personal scrubs or hospital-provided blue scrubs - Weekend coverage required once per month, with one night call per week - Upbeat and collaborative personalities preferred - Candidates must provide a US Social Security Number and date of birth for consideration Requirements - Active California RN license required - At least 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience - American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification - Cath Lab circulating experience as an RN is required - Experience with Mac Lab/Cardiolab is preferred - No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-574757.
