Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Thousand Oaks,
California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac
Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks -
40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel
RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for
ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside
experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5
weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the
initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN
- Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM
to 3:30 PM • Weekend call typically runs Friday 3:30 PM to Monday
7:00 AM • Required to work 1 weekend per month and 1 night call per
week • Patient ratio of 3 per case with 3 staff members per room •
Work with GE and Philips labs, Mac Lab/Cardiolab equipment • Use
Meditech EMR system • Cath Lab Circulating (RN) experience required
- candidates without this experience will not be considered • Scrub
experience as Rad Tech required • Mac Lab/Cardiolab experience
preferred • Perform left/right heart caths, angioplasty/stent,
IVUS, ICE, atherectomy procedures • Handle Atrial Fib Ablations,
Micra's ICDs, PM, Lead extraction • Assist with Structural Heart
procedures: TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid, LAAC (Watchman) PFO/ASD • May
float to Pre/Post care area called Cardiovascular Observation Unit
• Must enjoy working hard as part of a team with upbeat/positive
attitude • Required certifications: Registered Nurse License for
Circulator role, Registered Radiologic Technologist License,
Fluoroscopy permit • Dress code allows wearing own scrubs or blue
hospital scrubs provided Facility: This healthcare facility
operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory
featuring 3 Cath/EP/Hybrid/Structural Heart rooms located on the
first floor of the main hospital building. The facility utilizes
advanced GE and Philips laboratory equipment and maintains a
collaborative team environment with RNs and Rad Techs working
together. The department specializes in a full range of cardiac
procedures from diagnostic catheterizations to complex structural
heart interventions, providing cutting-edge cardiovascular care to
