Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 10-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM • Must have catheterization lab experience - candidates without this experience will not be considered • RCIS certification is not accepted • Required to work 1 weekend per month and 1 night call per week (3:30 PM start time) • Night shift availability on-call only • Work as part of a 3-person team per case in cardiac catheterization procedures • Operate GE and Philips lab equipment, Mac Lab/Cardiolab systems • Use Meditech EMR system for documentation • Perform typical procedures including left/right heart catheterizations, angioplasty/stent placement, IVUS, ICE, atherectomy • Support atrial fibrillation ablations, Micra ICDs, pacemaker implantations, lead extractions • Assist with structural heart procedures including TAVR, TMVR, Tricuspid procedures, LAAC (Watchman), PFO/ASD closures • May float to assist in Pre/Post care area called Cardiovascular Observation Unit • Required certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist License, Fluoroscopy & ARRT license • Must maintain upbeat/positive attitude and enjoy working hard as part of a team • May wear personal scrubs or use provided blue hospital scrubs Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory with 3 specialized Cath/EP/Hybrid/Structural Heart rooms equipped with advanced GE and Philips technology. The facility provides a full range of cardiac interventional services including diagnostic catheterizations, complex interventional procedures, electrophysiology treatments, and structural heart interventions. The department maintains high standards with specialized equipment and a collaborative team approach to patient care.
