Registered Nurse (RN) | Oncology Location: Irvine, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,569 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/10/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Irvine, California, 92618! Oncology Charge Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years of oncology experience required, 3 years of charge experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS, CHEMO Must-Have: - Inpatient oncology experience - Administration of chemotherapy - Epic charting experience Description: Oncology/Hematology RN Charge Nurse needed to lead daily operations on a specialized unit for blood disorders and cancers. Responsible for balancing patient care with leadership duties. Duties include staffing and patient flow management. Manage complex treatments such as chemotherapy and blood transfusions. Mentor staff and ensure patient safety. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide optimal care. Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Willingness to float and participate in weekend rotation is required. 3 years of oncology experience is required, with hematology experience preferred. Charge experience of 3 years is required. First-time travelers are accepted if qualifications are met. Caribbean blue scrubs are not provided by the unit. Certifications required include BLS and CHEMO. Skills in inpatient oncology and administration of chemotherapy are required. Preferred skills include BMT, outpatient oncology, and specific immunotherapy. Familiarity with managing side effects and various cancer care protocols is preferred.
