Cath Lab Tech Location: Bakersfield, CA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $3,598 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position ID: 75103434 Shift: 10H Days 10s, EOW, first to float, call required Description: Unit Notes:No first time travelersCath Lab Techs:\"Cases are done with 2 techs (1 scrubs & 1 monitors hemodynamics, etc) RN does conscious sedationSometimes there will be a 4th person - could be an RN or a tech, depending on the case.There is also a 'Lead Tech' that is responsible for making the room assignments.\"agency provides traveler with rad badgeCerts: ARRT, Fluoro, BLSSkills: STEMI receiving facility. Cardiac/Coronary, vascular, peripheral, general IR & neuro intervention. \"Must have current cath lab experience.Must be comfortable with conscious & moderate sedation, procedural processes, airway management, cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, & vasopressors), as well as balloon pumps.\" suites/labs :5 suites: 2 suites primarily for coronary cases; 1 suite - peripheral cases; 1 suite - vascular & neuro cases; 1 suite for EP casescases per day on average :Varies anywhere from 10-22 cases per day totalWeeknight/Call Requirement:\"Rotate call for inpatient cases, emergent cases, etc.1x/week\"Weekend/Call Requirement:\"1 weekend/month - weekend call runs from Fri evening through Mon AM. This is subject to change depending on the needs of the unit.\" Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
