Job Description *This job posting is exclusively for medical
students pursuing an MD or DO. The U.S. Navy is seeking highly
motivated medical students to apply for the Health Services
Collegiate Program (HSCP). It is a unique opportunity that allows
you to serve as an active-duty Navy Officer while completing
medical school with full pay and benefits. HSCP is ideal for
medical students who do not have a tuition-based scholarship but
want financial stability and leadership experience while attending
medical school. Responsibilities: Serve as an active duty Navy
officer while enrolled full-time in medical school. Focus strictly
on education. Gain early exposure to Navy medicine, leadership and
military healthcare systems. Commission as a Navy Medical Corps
Officer upon graduation. Enter residency through Navy or approved
civilian pathways. Compensation & Benefits: - Active duty pay
(E-6), while in school. (E-7 depending on certain factors). Pay
Range: E-6: $3,401-$3908/month E-7: $3,932-$4,456/month - Basic
Allowance for Housing (BAH) - varies depending on rank, location
(zip code), and dependent status. *Los Angeles area: E-6:
$3,291/month (w/o dependent); $4,188/month (with dependent) E-7:
$3,582/month (w/o dependent): $4,311/month (with dependent) - Full
medical and dental coverage. - Monthly food allowance. - Time in
school counts toward retirement. - Eligibility for bonuses and
special pay after graduation. - No additional military obligation
added beyond medical service commitment. Service Obligation: 3-4
years Basic Eligibility Requirements: U.S. Citizen Enrolled or
accepted transfer to an LCME or AOA accredited school. Cumulative
GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale Medically qualified for
