Position: Ophthalmic Technician Location: Beverly Hills, CA Start
Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: Day shift, 5x8s (8:00
AM – 5:00 PM) Weekend Requirement: 1 Saturday/month (8:00 AM –
12:00 PM) Positions Available: 1 Requirements - Minimum 2 years of
experience - Optos experience required - BLS (AHA or ARC) - Flu
vaccination required (no exemptions) - Epic charting experience
required - Preferred: COT or Certified Ophthalmic Assistant Work
Setting - Adult Outpatient Clinic / Physician Office - High-volume,
fast-paced, multi-provider environment Key Responsibilities -
Perform diagnostic eye tests (visual fields, tonometry, refraction,
OCT, etc.) - Assist with intravitreal injections and minor
procedures - Prepare exam rooms and patients for exams/surgeries -
Administer topical medications - Chart documentation in Epic -
Patient education and office support duties Compliance (Required at
Submission) - 2 supervisor references (within last year) - All
relevant certifications - Nursys report (dated within 2 weeks) -
COVID vaccination card - Active permanent CA license required (no
temp licenses) Additional Notes - Observed holiday closures apply
(no pay if clinic closed) - Modules completed pre-start (billable
hours apply) - Previous Cedars employees must be separated for 1
