Job Description Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Bakersfield, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Med Surg / Tele | Days | 13 Weeks Shift: 12hr Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Unit: 27 Bed Med Surg / Tele Unit ??? Ratios: 1:4 Tele | 1:5 Med Surg We are seeking an experienced Med Surg / Tele RN to join a fast-paced unit caring for acute medical and post-surgical patients including total joints, urology, GYN, podiatry, and general surgery. Requirements • 2 years RN experience • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required • Med Surg / Tele experience • Cerner experience preferred Unit Details • Heparin drips (no cardiac drips) • Remote telemetry monitoring (Philips) • CPAP / BiPAP support • CNA support based on census Schedule • 12hr shifts – Days • 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule • 1 major 1 minor holiday required Floating Travelers may float to other Med Surg / Tele units, ICU for MS patients, ER holds, or nearby facility (~6.5 miles away).
