04-27-2026 End Date: 07-27-2026 Shift Type: Rotating nights, 8:00
PM - 6:30 AM (10-hour shifts), 8 on/6 off rotation; every other
weekend; set schedule/rotation (no self-scheduling) Hours per Week:

people heal. Roles & Responsibilities Lead antibiotic stewardship
activities, including vancomycin and aminoglycoside dosing and
monitoring Perform and oversee sterile and IV compounding according
to protocols and safety standards Manage medication dispensing
systems (Omnicell, CSM vault) and unit-dose operations (medidose,
kit check, control check) Provide timely drug information and
clinical consultations to medical staff to optimize patient care
Ensure pharmacy operations meet regulatory and accreditation
requirements Monitor and adjust medication therapy such as insulin
and other high-risk drugs Support pharmacy staff during rare
emergencies and help maintain safe staffing ratios Collaborate with
the pharmacy manager and supervise pharmacy technicians to deliver
seamless care Qualifications California licensed hospital
pharmacist (required) Minimum 3 years of hospital pharmacy
experience BLS (AHA) certification required Experience with
antibiotic stewardship (ASP), sterile compounding, and IV
compounding Proven use of CPOE systems (Cerner or similar) and
automated dispensing systems (Omnicell) Familiarity with medidose
unit packaging, kit check, and control check workflows Residency
training or BPS certifications (BCPS, BCIDP, BCCCP, BSCSP) or ASHP
micro-certifications or SIDP preferred IV Compounding Certification
preferred; any IT experience is a plus Comfort working nights and
participating in scheduled weekend coverage Education California
pharmacist license (required) Knowledge & Skills Antibiotic
stewardship principles and therapeutic drug monitoring Sterile
compounding practices and aseptic technique IV compounding
workflows and verification Use and troubleshooting of Cerner CPOE
and Omnicell/ADM systems Hospital pharmacy operations, regulatory
compliance, and quality assurance Medication distribution systems
including unit-dose and automated dispensing Strong clinical
communication and interdisciplinary collaboration Supervisory
