Beach Attendant SUMMARY The Beach Attendant is responsible for positive experience of guests while maintaining the quality standards and supervision of the outlet staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTION S Control the flow of work in the room by seating guests in station rotation while maintaining guest lists and following and enforcing all restaurant standards. Greet guests in a professional manner. Inform guests of daily activities and be able to “sell” the resort. Meet all phone etiquette standards. Assist guests with setting up chairs at the pool area; delivering necessary menus and waters upon guest arrival. Greet guests in a professional manner. QUALIFICATIONS Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. High school or equivalent education required. Minimum of two years’ experience in public contact or customer service position required. Restaurant/hospitality experience preferred. Serve Safe/Food Handlers Card required. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Most work tasks are performed outdoors subjected to varied weather conditions. Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours or more in length. May be required to lift trays of food or food items weighing up to 30 lbs. Must have the ability to bend, squat and lift 40 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. occasionally. Additional Job Description Additional Job Description The pay scale for Beach Attendant is $16.90. The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
