Job Description:
Job Description Summary All OIT student workers are required to
work on the Service Desk as well as the switchboard. The Service
Desk takes calls and responds to email from students, faculty,
staff, and outside sources, and prepares work orders for both
technology and facilities requests. The switchboard handles all
incoming calls to the University and reroutes them to the
appropriate department. Minimum Qualifications Must speak and write
English clearly. Work Schedule This position has a flexible number
of hours, with a maximum of 20 per week. Student workers are needed
as early as 7:30am. Service Desk closes at 8:00pm. Saturday hours
are from 8:00am to 1:00pm. This position is 100% on campus.
