Opportunity to join our management team is available. We are looking to expand our Pre-litigation department and are in immediate need of an EXPERIENCED PRE-LITIGATION Case Manager . The ideal candidate has personal injury pre-litigation case management experience and is comfortable handling severe client injuries with large policy limits . Day to day tasks include frequent client contact, medical records collection, review, and analysis, assisting clients with medical providers, appointments, liability investigations, insurance claims processing, resolving property damage and loss of use, preparing files to submit to our demand department, and providing superior client service. Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of the PI claims in the pre-litigation phase Provide excellent and timely customer service to clients Responsible for actively medically managing each assigned matter with attorney approval, including reviewing medical reports and medical recommendations, assisting with scheduling medical appointments, obtaining referrals for additional medical treatment, appointment reminders, etc. Gather all necessary documents for demand writing team and organize using CRM technology Assist and act as a liaison for other departments with the firm Provide support to the staff and Attorney with preparing breakdowns Handle case load of 100 files Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Team Leaders Skills/Qualifications: 2 years experience in Personal Injury Pre-litigation handling severe client injuries and large policy limits in a law firm setting Bilingual (English and Spanish) Closer skills preferred. Tech savvy and comfortable working in a paperless system Time management and attention to detail is important Possess exceptional organizational skills as well as effective oral and written communication skills Experience in a medical office is a plus Self-Starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at once in a fast-paced environment Ability to handle high call volume - incoming and outgoing Previous experience with CRM software such as CASEpeer preferred but not required Proficiency in MS office suite Proficiency working with a case management software preferred Positive attitude, eagerness, and ability to learn new processes and technology Ability to use copier, scanner, fax, and computer LAW OFFICES OF ERICA CHAVEZ offers excellent employee benefits package, life insurance, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k, PTO, free parking, referral program, incentives and bonuses, social outreach opportunities, holiday parties, team bonding events (like escape rooms and Disneyland trips), opportunities for growth and learning from two big names in our field.
