Job Description Job Description The Details Position: Dispatcher
and Driver Role. Pay: The off-season rate is $25.00 per hour. This
rate will temporarily increase to $30.00 per hour during the summer
peak season from June to September. Location: Laguna Beach Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday: 11:00 am-6:00 pm Days off- Sunday and Monday We

family. Requirements : Class B license w/ Passenger Endorsement DOT
Medical Certification Have at least 2 years of a class B licensed
driving experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. K-4 MUST BE

of the Position: Dispatch plays a vital role in aiding our drivers
and delivering service to our customers. Dispatchers must be
proficient in oral and written English and good communicators and
must have a professional disposition when transmitting on the radio
to drivers and be able to support the fleet as needed. Must have a
positive attitude, a strong knowledge of the area served, and be
self-motivated. Must be flexible, able to multi-task and have the
capacity to work calmly in a fast-paced environment. This position
may require the ability to sit for extended periods of time.
Additional responsibilities and required skills include: Principal
Job Duties: Schedules and dispatches drivers. Answers calls from
clients and schedules services. Maintains records, logs, and
schedules of the calls received to schedule transit services,
drivers dispatched, and customer cancellations or no-shows.
Prepares reports on all activities occurring during their shifts.
Directs drivers through radio contact. Track operational
issues/concerns using a Customer Relations Management System.
Report customer service and employee performance issues or concerns
to appropriate management for resolution. Provide excellent
customer service to clients, customers and employees. Additional
duties as assigned. Education (if needed): High School Diploma or
equivalent preferred. Experience: 2 years in a dispatcher role
preferred. Skills : • Ability to communicate professionally and
effectively. • Strong computer skills (ability to operate specific
software programs) and handheld devices. • Thrive in a fast-paced,
multi-faceted work environment. • Must be able to work
unsupervised.• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English
language. • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay
firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded). • Demonstrate a
sense of urgency and timeliness.• Ability to handle challenging
and, at times, emotionally charged situations. • Demonstrate the
ability to seek improvement. • Excellent team-building and
interpersonal skills. Physical Demands: Ability to physically
push/pull/lift to 50lbs Ability to bend at the knees or squat
frequently throughout a shift. Willingness to work in inclement
weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.) The physical
