Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center is a licensed 404 bed acute care facility. Position Summary:

The Interventional Radiology Technologist's primary function is to deliver high quality patient care while producing diagnostic radiographs and angiography.

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND LICENSING:

  • Must be certified by the state of California in both Radiography and Fluoroscopy.
  • Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required. Technologist must be current with continuing education requirements.
  • Advanced certification through the ARRT--Cardiac-Interventional(CI) or Vascular-Interventional (VI) is required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab is preferred
  • Neuro-Interventional experience preferred
  • Internal transfers from another modality or new-hire technologists must achieve ARRT (CI) or (VI) certification within twelve (12) months of reassignment
  • Ability to function in technically demanding situations.
  • Must maintain current BLS certification.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of asepsis.
  • Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze feasible solutions and choose an optimum course of action.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamwork.
  • Current on new procedures and protocol within Interventional Radiology.
