Under medical direction and by order of physician, performs a
full range of respiratory therapeutic modalities and diagnostic
measurements for patients requiring cardio-pulmonary services in
both critical and non-critical care areas on all age groups except
Reports To: RT Supervisor
Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations:
- Current State of California RCP License
- Current BCLS required
- Current ACLS required
- Current PALS preferred
- High school education
- Graduation from an AMA approved 1 or 2 year Respiratory Therapy
- 2-years' experience in an acute care setting.
- Minimum or 1 year of critical care experience including
ventilator care and emergency room.
- Demonstrates desired clinical skills related to Respiratory
- Good communication skills
- Good Computer skills desirable.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, without sacrificing
quality of care.
