Position: Credentialing Associate
Location: Can be REMOTE
Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
The Credentialing Associate is responsible for processes
credentialing and re-credentialing files in accordance with Company
and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with
state and federal laws and regulations and accrediting organization
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
+ Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of
the credentialing program and process including communication of
information regarding participating providers to Medical Directors,
Credentials Committee and other internal departments, as well as
database management, provider relations and contracting.
+ May be utilized within the Credentialing Database Operations
unit or the Credentialing Policy Committee unit to support the
company's entire credentialing process.
+ Education: Requires a high school diploma or GED
+ Experience: one year of office experience in a health care
environment; or any combination of education and experience, which
would provide an equivalent background.
+ Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
+ Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication
+ Knowledgeable of current NCQA, CMS, DHCS, DMHC and other
regulatory body's credentialing standards.
+ Previous data entry required. Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
and Powerpoint experience required.
+ Self-motivated, able to prioritize multiple assignments,
excellent organizational skills, ability to track multiple
projects/tasks and follow through as needed.
Applicable to Colorado Applicants Only Hourly Pay Range*: $15.37
- $19.21/hr Actual compensation may vary from posting based on
geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
