Responsibilities

Weatherford is hiring a Repair & Maintenance Technician for our Santa Paula facility. This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you will be repair & maintenance of equipment for the oil and gas industry. The Repair & Maintenance Technician will be working within a supportive, inclusive team in a fast-paced, progressive environment. Weatherford provides training, excellent benefits and fantastic career progression.

• Primary role will be to assemble, disassemble equipment per work instructions.
• The individual will prepare and test equipment.
• He/She will be expected to follow a specified learning plan that will include various computer-based learning modules as well as classroom training. During this phase, He/She may take on miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
• The individual applies standard techniques, procedures and criteria to perform tasks strictly in accordance to Weatherford OEPS standards.
• Maintaining and updating work orders.
• Know and understand Weatherford safety/quality policies and procedures.
  
  Qualifications
  
  
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3+ years oilfield experience preferred
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds minimum.
  • Must be able to operate a crane and forklift.
  • Must be able to operate other assigned machinery and equipment
  • Must be a team player
  • Must have a valid driver's license
