You’ll Get to Do The ideal candidate will be responsible for
coordinating and overseeing quality control and quality assurance
activities within the manufacturing facility, with a focus on
incoming inspection, in-process verification, and final product
compliance. This role ensures adherence to ISO 9001 standards and
internal quality procedures, while leading a team of quality
inspectors to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.
Job responsibilities include: Supervise, train, and mentor a team
of quality inspectors across multiple shifts. Coordinate and
monitor incoming material inspections, ensuring conformance to
specifications and supplier quality requirements. Oversee
in-process and final inspections to ensure compliance with
engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in
accordance with ISO 9001 standards. Lead root cause analysis and
corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for internal and
external nonconformances. Collaborate with production, engineering,
and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive
continuous improvement. Ensure proper calibration and maintenance
of inspection tools and equipment. Prepare and analyze quality
metrics and reports, present findings to management. Support
internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 surveillance and
customer audits. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and
continuous improvement throughout the organization. What We Are
Looking For Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering, Quality, or related technical field (or equivalent
experience). Minimum 5 years of experience in quality
assurance/control in a manufacturing environment, preferably metal
forming. At least 2 years of supervisory or team lead experience.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and quality tools (e.g.,
FMEA, SPC, 8D, PPAP). Proficient in reading technical drawings and
using precision measurement tools. Excellent communication,
leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience with ERP and QMS
software systems is a plus. Position Pay Range $81,000 - $95,000
